Looking for Quality Reasearchers / Beta Testers

    Hello,

we are currently looking for volunteers who are interested in helping to test a new search engine which hits the market later this year. As we focus on high quality results we are looking for a few volunteers who want to help us becoming one of the leading search engines on the web by providing their feedback and beta test results to us. This will enable us to create exactly what a user is looking for.

Please note: This is not some small project or yet another PPC - We are building a real search engine with own spiders, ranking technology, indexes and very unique user features.

What we are expecting from you
    ========================
    - searching our search engine to find and report issues
    - reporting sites that should not be listed (enables us to adjust our content filters)
    - reporting any spam results you find (enables us to adjust our content filters)
    - reporting any bugs (display bugs / wrong content indexed ?)
    - suggesting "starting points" (starting points are valuable sites with links to other valuable sites)
    - suggesting sites that should be crawled daily (great news sources, great / unique content)
    - posting questions to our customer care center (it's like an interactive FAQ area)
    - suggesting features / discuss existing features etc.

Our beta tester database is very small and limited as we are using a live "development" database. This means that we reset our index every few hours to adjust our filters which can lead to blank result pages here and there. However, this should not happen often as our crawlers are indexing sites very fast which should help a lot. It also happens that we have to reboot a few of our servers if changes are made or if we simply need to add new features - but that's why this is called a beta test.

If you are interested in helping to create a new leading search engine by supporting our development team please contact:

    searchtechnology @ gmail.com

and let us know why you are interested in joining our beta team.

We are using this email address to protect the project name as we don't want to catch media attention yet. Once we accept your application we will provide our "real" contact information including access to our beta community forums.

We will review your application and reply with an email containing all important details and the URL to our brand new beta tester community forums.

Final Note: This is not a paid job or a permanent position - it's a volunteer position called "Quality Researcher". However we are willing to list volunteers in our credits area which might help you to polish your portfolio for future jobs within this sector.

All our beta testers will receive a few advertising coupons once we go public. That's at least something in return

Thank you for you time - I hope to hear from you soon :)
