I'm looking for somebody to build a site like PopURLs, MiniBoxs, Sportsnipe, and OriginalSignal, which I believe are populated by RSS feeds. I've been a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MYSQL, PHP) user, so I'd like to stick with that set up. Specifics: - I will be pulling from roughly 24 news sites, 4 image sharing sites, and 3 video sites. - Display will be 3 columns, with rows of news and media(displayed as thumbnails) feeds alternating. - I'd like to have a simple CMS implemented that will allow me to add or remove sources. It should be able to account for differences in media type - i.e. text or photos/videos. If the source is for photos or videos, it should know to pull thumbnails and display them in the format designated for media. (Hope that makes sense) - I will need a number of user options to be displayed in a toolbar, that allow users to: 1. view most popular stories based on outgoing clicks, presented in a "river" fashion 2. switch between small and large text 3. subscribe to RSS feed for the site 4. get site widget 5. view more stories (expands all sources to display 20 stories instead of a default 10) 6. arrange order of sources 7. view media only 8. view text only If you have graphic design skills, that would be great. If not, I can source the design, CSS/HTML template myself. If interested, please PM with links to previous work and your estimate ($$$.)
