These links across the top: home portfolio quality contact -- should be capitalised. The contact form is a little small. I would make it bigger and/or place it elsewhere on the page. Optimise your title tags, they all say the same and they include your name, which people aren't Googling for. Your keywords do not feature in your text either.
Thanks Maslova, I have applied issues You listed (title tags, capitalizing). According to text, the English version is still not finished (as You may notice, I am not native English speaker) and I am still waiting to get professionally translated content.
I was going to second Maslove in that you need to capitalize the words in the navigation bar, but you have already modified them. I like that the design is simple, and easy to navigate. I would suggest you to include a Captcha to your web site contact form to avoid spam.
i would put the header less high so that the text is above the pagefold on 1024 x 768 resolution, which now is not the case. i understand why you did it, i love whitespace myself, but not at the cost of content visibility
For an expert site coder I think the site looks too plain. Better make it the best you can and show them you know CSS and XHTML.
Thanks all for Your valuable feedback! @HostMID - yes, I consider using some little captcha, but fortunately I haven't received any spam @yeahfree - that's a good tip. I need to think of it. @DomainBuying - yes, that's true, but I think I will prefer to keep main page simple, and to show my skills in portfolio. Common customer can't really know much about my skills without knowledge of xHTML/ CSS. So experts will be able to examine my source, and "normal" people will have the quality subpage. @vikas2009 - thanks
Impressive site, I thoroughly enjoyed viewing it. I second all the suggestions above, and have none to add. Good work.
Now your title says this: <title>Professional xHTML/ CSS coder</title> Those terms are quite professional. Think what people Google for......... research it........ Do you build cheap websites? Say "Cheap Websites" Do people want a Polish coder? Say "Polish Website Coder" Think of alternatives: "Website CSS" maybe...... Then, after your research, redo your page titles, a different one for each page. For example: <title>xHTML - CSS - Website CSS - Polish Website Coder - Cheap Websites</title> That way, when [if] someone types in Google: "Cheap Polish website CSS coder" -- and that is more likely than "xHTML/ CSS coder" -- you will be at the top. Very clean and easy on the eye. Maybe a little too easy on the eye for what youre trying to get across to potential visitors?
I like it - especially the portfolio section. I do think the links across the top should be just a little bit larger font. Other than that - Looks good.
Hello Pawel, I recommend you make your navigation buttons larger so it is easier for the user to see them. Also, gather testimonials from people you've worked with. Many people rely on these for credibility. Something else you need to keep in mind is what differentiates you from your competition? If you don’t differentiate yourself, you can’t convert visitors to customers. You have 3 seconds to differentiate yourself in a brutally competitive space. Your unique value proposition is your only opportunity. This tells visitors why they should do business with you instead of your competitors. Why should they do business with you? When you figure it out place it somewhere prominent on the homepage. Here is a great blog post that will guide you through planning your unique value proposition http://www.diamondwebsiteconversion.com/a-simple-plan-for-creating-a-unique-value-proposition/ Let me know what you think. I only have one idea at the moment, not feeling creative at the moment... But I can say some of it needs to be bordered.. u get me? Section it off with a thin black border... try it
