Looking for places to advertise my website to small businesses. Any suggestions?

I have a new site that can be best described as a cross between Fiverr and an e-commerce store. The idea isn't ground-breaking, but I am confident that it will succeed if I can get it in front of the right people. The "right people" I need to target are small business owners; the idea is to have them register on our site and then sell their product(s) or service(s). I have started to build a presence on Facebook, Twitter, etc. and plan to do PPC on AdWords and FB, but am looking for other ideas. Does anyone know of any websites, forums, etc. that are mainly viewed by small businesses? Any suggestions to get small businesses to register and sell their products on my website? I am a bit stuck right now, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated... :)

This is a great question, and I look forward to the answers it generates. However, as a general rule B2B sales are extremely difficult online. My only suggestions off the top of my head are to:
1 create several videos about the service and place them on YouTube.
    2 advertise in trade magazines/sites
3 get people to pound the pavement with flyers.

you have said that you have started using Face book and Twitter to promote your site. so the only remaining is the video marketing. video marketing can give you really targeted traffics from local and subcontinent. so try this.
    thanks

Submit your site to similar and relevant sites and have your link placed prominently. Then also you should engage on a Social Media as it is the IN these days and create a page there for advertising your product.

When you say small businesses, does that mean offline businesses? If so, you may want to target specific locations. This can be done with free classifieds such as Craigslist. You mentioned PPC, and that can also be locally targeted, and the keywords are cheaper that way. For specific types of businesses, you can search for specialty websites and trade journals where you could advertise, either on or offline.

Since is your own business, you will not find any problem to advertise through adwords, so you will get almost the maximum possible targetization.
Another great way to promote your website is to place ads on related websites. If you find them and if you can get a good price you're on the road.

If you have plan to do PPC, do it. There's a way to do PPC for entirely FREE, which means you don't need to pay per ad clicked. If you want to know how, check my sig.
