looking for photos managment script... any ideas?

i dont mean online uploads like imageshack, i am looking for something similar in nature to http://www.ktools.net/photostore/, but cheaper... i dont need too many features or some extras, just simple content management for photos that will allow downloads and previews, as well as easy upload and organization by categories (and customization).

http://www.stockvault.net/ looks good, but i have no clue what are they running.

i assume these scrips wont be free but i'd prefer something affordable.. anyone knows something for it?

You could try Gallery. It's free and there is a checkout module with Paypal gateway.

Stockvault.net is running on Photostore. I've just customized the design.

There is a gallery script called Photokorn by http://www.telekorn.com but their site is down atm.. its a good script, and cheaper than Photostore.

 

Try Gallery - it comes with cpanel, and easy to install and setup..

 

I have used coppermine photo gallery with cpanel...works great. Users can create accounts, upload their own photos, make comments, and rate photos. Are you trying to sell photos? If that's what you mean, it seems the other suggestions here are better ideas.

 

If you don't mind paying something, you might look at www.smugmug.com. Unlimited storage & bandwidth and comes with a complete shopping cart system already in place.

 

my suggest is joomla with photo gallery component.

first download&install joomla from www.joomla.org.

second : you have to choose a gallery component for your joomla. in my experience , zoomgallery is best gallery solution for joomla.

both of them are free
