I currently own a website, www.websiterevue.com. I started this website because a) I like to write, and I believe that the reviews I have and currently do are good, and b) A site like this didn't exist, at least in the way that I wanted it. Unfortunately, being a writer doesn't prepare you for the reality of owning a website. Specifically, the advertising side of the website. As such, I'm looking for someone with talents that would complement my own to share in both the development and profit of this website. If interested send over a pm to talk about what you would want out of the website, what you would be able to bring to the table, etc.
hey man just keep on writing, the marketer will be here when it is time for it also, your site will be updated a lot I guess so google will send you nice traffic I am sure if you keep doing it How about you make reviews of my sites? your football category is empty
I did figure that because it is a site that will be updated a lot google will like that. However as far as SEO, advertising, monetization, etc. goes, I am a bit lost, which is why a partner with such knowledge would be great. and I'd be happy to do a review of your site, I'll let you know when it goes up as well.
Regarding point (a): You may like to write and im not going to knock your writing. The problem is with a site like this your going to be biased to the designs and sites you like which doesn't mean everyone else will. You need to introduce a user-review area to allow their opinions about the sites. To update the results, so the 10/10 scores will be based on users opinions. Regarding point (b): There are alot of review websites out there. Use Google or head over to Namepros you'll find alot of them mentioned.
n-james, I'm not going to disagree with you on the first point - everyone is of course biased to what they like, and I would like to introduce a way for users and viewers to comment on sites (something that is in the works right now in fact). However, as far as your second point goes, although there are sites that do provide website reviews, not many provide the level of detail that this one does(that is, a full write up review as the focus, rather than just user comments). Your are right though, user comments should be part of the site somewhere, I'll have to get working on that more, thanks for the comments and insight.
Interesting site, I currently do Internet marketing and am always interested in new projects, But in order for me to partner and invest in something I would need more information so I can research the potentials of it. First of all, Do the users submit the reviews? or does the admin have to submit them thereself? Websites where users can interact with do just about 60% better then any other websites out there as far as returning visitors. That is why I ask. A site like this MUST be a user content submission site in order to really make it good. Well PM me with the answer. Hope to talk more bout it.
