hello, i'm looking for best paied shopping cart (200-400$), i've tried cs-cart but it is slow, any other. thank you
May I ask which hosting you've used. Our performance is actually optimized for 100 000 products, so we'd really appreciate to know what may cause the slowness.
my server hosted with limestonenetworks on windows 2008 web server, runing on apache server. i'm runing trial cs-cart on my server www.3hart.com
Why use a paid one? Try one of these free ones they can handle the traffic and are great. Google search 8 Best Open Source Shopping Carts
I've used Mal's e-Commerce for several sites, including my hosting site where I've used it continually since 2002. They have a free and a paid version, I like them both very much and recommend the paid if you're doing volume. They have lots of features that are very simple to use, and the support is top notch. Try checking out Ecommerce Templates. They offer wide array of shopping carts. Who knows, they something that you are looking for.
Thank you. On our side, pages load quite quickly, but the CSS does not load. This is due to this tag: <base href="http://www.3hart.com\/" /> Which should be: <base href="http://www.3hart.com/" /> I've consulted out tech support team and they told me that the host name may not be generated correctly by your server. In order to solve this, please find the file meta.post.tpl inside skins/electro/customer/addons/seo/hooks/index/ folder and replace the code <base href="{$smarty.const.REAL_LOCATION}/" /> with: <base href="http://www.3hart.com/" /> Please, let us know about results - and I'll ask our architects why the address is not generated properly.
i've bought CS-CART it is simple and good, they have a problem with support (slow, any question you have to have support points $$). Interspire shopping cart: It is very good It is the best but costly. The problem with cs-cart that it is not working with gmail application email, so if you have @gmail or @yourdomain wich is google application so you can not use it by cs-cart.
i strongly recommend you to try this site http://www.websitetemplates.bz/ecommerce_templates.html there is a huge variety of shopping carts. some of them are more popular, some of them - less, but you`ll certainly find something for you. i tell you by my own experience
We have some monthly to yearly support plans where you have an unlimited support, so there will be no need to pay for each question. You may consider this as a possible option. Hm... actually, this should work, the instruction is available at http://kb2.cs-cart.com/set_up_webmail. Can you please tell what kind of problems you experience - do you receive any error messages?
I think you should go for customized shopping cart. Lots of companies do. It's simple but nice to use.
