I had also a dream to work with comfort in my own time but a search for work opportunities reveals hard-to-believe offers like 'Turn my Home Computer into a Cash Machine!' or 'Guaranteed Income -I have nothing to lose! ‘Please suggest appropriate way to fulfill my dream.
Sounds like another one who was pulled in by those, "Crazy Like a Fox", commercials. The bottom line is if you have no cash, you will have to put in a lot of hard work, and be crafty to find your niche and market to be successful. You are swimming with the sharks baby...
This is a tough position to be in. But in order for anyone to help you, we'd need to know more about your position. Do you have any current skills you can use, for instance something you could offer to a colleague in a partnership, or to a paying client? You don't have to be a complete expert, just know how to do the work. An easy way I've helped complete newbies make money is by giving them clients who need grunt work done, like SEO articles, link building, or social profile creation. I have step by step tutorials they just follow to a T and they get paid a project fee for it. However, it's part of a membership that isn't the cheapest. So if you're already down to the wire financially, you'll want to partner with a more experienced marketer maybe who can help you...see if someone has need of some articles written, or other easy stuff, that they can teach you how to easily do. You can make quick cash while learning a skill, and over time then go to profit share with them on larger projects. I think that apprenticing with someone experienced will be a smarter move than chasing get-rich-quick schemes. They simply don't work.

I think the difficulty here is there are so many ways to make money, especially online. It can be overwhelming for any newbie, especially someone who needs to make money now. In my coaching, I first take my consultants through an exercise to figure out what they really love--what gets them up in the morning and is the real motivation behind success--rather than the money or "freedom." Once that's identified, then it's easier to pick what I call a "wealth track," that specific skill-set we develop to create wealth. So, in case it helps anyone here...though this is a bit "self help" rather than specifically wealth creation advice, here's how I would approach your "Where do I start?" question: Step 1. Let The Beauty We Love Be What We Do This is a quote from Rumi, a Sufi poet and mystic. He tells us that there is no higher purpose to life than to do that which we love. I agree. So ask yourself, "What would make me truly happy?" Regardless your answer, hold it and ask, "What would that make me happy?" Then with your next answer, ask again, "Now why would THAT make me happy?" Keep digging like this. It sounds ridiculous, but you'll peel off layers until you strike a very deep chord within yourself. Chances are, you'll know you're getting close to your true core desire when you start crying. It can be overwhelming to really connect with that the first time. Here's a hint. That true answer is never "money," or "freedom," or "travel." None of the things we usually identify with. For instance, let's say, "I'll be happy when I'm making six figures a year." That makes me happy because I can then travel at my leisure and work on my computer from anywhere in the world. That makes me happy because I will feel free and in control of my life and I can have new and exciting experiences. That makes me happy because right now I feel like my life is stagnant and repetitive. I feel empty. Changing this makes me happy because I'll know I'm the captain of my own fate and that I can impact my life the way I choose and attract my desire. That makes me happy because then I know I can do that for others and help liberate them from the things that bring them the same kind of sadness. That makes me happy because I feel I really came here to do something for the world--to help people... And so on... You see how it kind of moves all over the map and then suddenly solidifies into a core desire to serve others? I'm not saying this is everyone's trajectory. It's just a random example. But the point is, it went from money to travel to freedom to a sense of control to service to others. It's not a linear line. And realizing the end result will help me steer where I should start. It helps me figure out my map. Step 2. How Can I Make Money Doing What I Love? Well you're already apparently clear that you want to find a way to make money online. Great. But now you have to figure out where you're going to concentrate your time. There's a lot to choose from and the choosing can take years of consuming every ebook and system in sight with no real focus. Don't go down that road! Focus now, and then consume only what is directly applicable and stick with it. Do the research and soul searching now and you'll save a lot of time and money. Ok, so make a list of the money-making strategies that excite and interest you. Your list may be: - social media - search engine optimization - pay per click Chances are, over time, you'll become efficient at more than one of these. But know where you'll concentrate first and foremost. Now, look at each one, and see how you can utilize that skill to serve your core desire you figured out earlier. In the example, it's to serve others and help liberate them. This happens to be my core desire. So I realized that first I had to learn a skill--any skill I liked, and then teach it to others. This helped me focus where I spent my time learning, because I had to choose a skill that not everyone else was already teaching. I wanted to pick something that I felt was unique to me so I could really help others. That meant I would NOT pursue any of the typical wealth tracks. For me, it meant pursuing monetization and empowerment through those wealth tracks and then teaching THAT to others. That gave me my curriculum so to speak. I hope that makes sense.
