Hi all I'm trying to find a website that I visited a while back, it had the ability to let you compare various aspects of on page and Meta SEO with a different website. You could compare: On page Key word density Title Description Keywords I've searched this forum and google, but can't quite find what I'm after. Any suggestions of what this tool could be, or what you guys use?
I've seen several versions of the tool that you describe, but nothing can beat an actual "human" analysis. It would probably do you some good to understand why SEs and bots rank you where they do. Other than keyword density, why can't you find the Title tags, META description and keyword tags, and content yourself? If your site is getting killed, figure out why... Just my thoughts...
I understand why the sites aren't ranked highly at the moment, age (in a completive market) and a lack of back links in comparison. I want to check the on page aspect of things so as the links get cached, the site will have a good chance of getting ranked where I want it to be. Human analysis is all well and good, but I can't excatley compare keyword density and get it accurate by hand can I? Unless I had a lot of time to do it! I found plenty of page comparison tools, but none allowing to compare the META info, if your aware of such tool could you please provide a link? Thanks
Here's a 7 day free trial of SEOElite "All in One" seo comparisson tool. Here's a free WebCEO software. For Keywords I use this tool.
Thanks for the links, boron! Can't find the 7-day free trial of SEO Elite, can you elaborate on this please?
Oops, I'm positive it was a 7 day free trial mentioned somewhere. Well, this direct link says it's 8 weeks money back guarantee (prize: $167). I would think twice if you need this software though...It has the potential, can spare a lot of time but check all other free tools like these. Don't waste a day with them . It's having a keyword in the site title and in H1 headers and in the titles of subpages and on the beginning of the text... which is pretty much all about you need to know about on-page keywords. How many keyword, density...well, just don't worry about it much. You can't fail much if you simply write a page content naturally.
I totally agree - there's enough potential in freely available tools, so if one just concentrates on applying the knowledge rather than buying new tools for extracting such info, there'll be a much better return. Yes, I'm currently going through the titles and keyword/description tags on my blog, and will later concentrate on h1, all based on free trials I got from wordtracker. More than enough info for starters Thanks!
I also saw 7 day free trial... Anyway I will not recommend SEO Elite. My experience with it was awful. Free Edition of Web CEO is really great. For a long time I was happy with it. But when I started to work for clients Professional one appeared to be even more great
There was a 7 days free trial on a site which linked to SEOelite but if it is not mentioned on SEOElite it probably means it is an expired offer. To Toe: What exactly (in short) you like in WEbCEO what you don't like in SEOElite (beside not paying a cent for the former)?
Well, first of all I had an awful experience of making SEO Elite work. There support was even more than horrible! I wrote to them every day and they answered: sorry, we do not know what to do. When it finally began to work I found that there is nothing special in it. Several usual SEO tasks are divided into uncomfortable projects. And reports are far from understandable. Web CEO in its turn has great support Angels. They are pleasant, nice and answer quickly The thing I like the most about Web CEO - is its reports. Especially now, when they can be easily send to report viewer. I think it should be explained: Report Viewer is the utility to provide clients with reports easily. More about it here. Also I often schedule some tasks and the reports are automatically send via e-mail to my clients. Also I like the list of press-release sites and article directories in submission tool... Well, I can speak about the things I like for a long time I will highly recommend you to try it for yourself and to see if it is the thing you need. BTW WebCEO has wonderful optimization tool that will analyze on- and off-the-page factors
