Looking For Newbie Introduction

    Hi!

    I've been looking through this forum and searching the Net to try and begin learning about how to research keywords and phrases and include them in web pages and articles.

    I'm pretty much brand new and only understand that this is an important thing to learn to drive traffic to sites. However I do not know how to start.

    Are there any good FAQs or primers for a newbie? I'd appreciate any input you may have.

    Thank you. That was helpful for where to put keywords once I have them. However how do I determine which keywords to target?

    check the competitor and search volume. less competitor and more search - Good Keywords.

    Find competitor and search volume -Google adword keyword tool.

    OK, thanks. I was wondering if there is a specific "best practices" formula. Basically some way to import into Excel and then run some sort of calculation to get a ratio and what a good ratio would be?
