Looking For New Marketing Channels, Other than Google

    Hi Everyone

I have been set a really interesting challenge. I need to look at creating new marketing avenues away from the Google channel. (We also target YSM, Miva, MSN and Mirago here in the UK.)

I need to come up with 2 new forms of marketing (channels) every month, although a new company that we are currently not using for say ppc or cpv can be included in the mix.

We are currently using both SEO and PPC, plus contextual and article promotions. But I am looking at other avenues, which can be both online and offline. (I wouldn’t want to use radio or television to promote us.)

I have considered targeting the Social Networks, but don’t think they are suited to our products. I also have PR and possibly an online video campaign (for a viral campaign) in the pipeline but what else can I try to generate traffic. All ideas that work and even mad suggestions welcomed.

    Cheers

When it comes to pay per click, there are not many good ones around. I'm just using Adwords at the moment, but it looks as if I may be trying MSN and Yahoo very soon and then will look from them onwards.
