I have the Scriptlance script running on my domain currently with some "webmasters" and "programmers" but I need some modifications made to it. I'm actually using it for the same purpose but a different industry. I have made a few minor changes to it, but nothing drastic. I need MY script changed to include the following... I want the script to store information in a MySQL database instead of the flat text file. I need the existing user info converted to the new MySQL database. I need to collect and store every user's full name, full postal address and telephone number during signup after e-mail verification and store this in the database and this info should be viewable only in the admin area. Change the "data backup" in the admin area to download (or upload, in the case of a restore) the MySQL database instead of the text file. Fix an error in the script that currently allows bids on a project AFTER the project has closed. It would be nice if the project information could also be stored in a MySQL database. Preference will be given to people who have specifically worked with this Scriptlance script before. I will want to see a demo of the script from the perspective of the user AND the admin before payment is completed. PM or post any questions you may have. Thanks
Got red repped for the previous post with the following comment... "Nobody wants to work for a skinhead. No one likes racists." My response: Skinhead = Racist??? You're a fucking stupid redneck. Quit fucking your relatives! It's not healthy.
Maybe try rentacoder or something, sounds ironic going to a freelance site to get your freelance site updated but you know what I mean. Either that of Sitepoint, I posted on sitepoint to get my freelance site modified and received a few PM's. Just ignore the red rep, pleanty of opinionated folk on here that need to go and get a life.
The rep doesn't bother me at all. (I know one of the secrets to DP is that red rep is a good thing here. Consider the source!) ...and thanks for the tip! I tried Scriptlance but wasn't aware of the others you mentioned. Thanks!
I think many coders would prefer to build their own script from scratch than to understand and fix others.
there are a good number of popular freelance sites listed on our site.. check in my sig I am sure you will find good help there.
