looking for local languages directories

Hi everyone.
I am looking for free local directories in the following languages:
French, Italian, German, Japanese, Chinese and Russian.

I am looking for the top free websites directories for each language but since i don't understand these languages i though some of you might be able to help me.

How do you know the chinese have web directories?

Then how will you be able to submit to them if you dont know the languages, how do you work with those sites in languages that you dont understand? Even if they are clients sites, you need to be able to deal with the basics before worrying about the top free directories for those languages.

Do you surf chinese search engines? because so far i feel that you are just guessing.

Do you know how to use google translate, how to search google in different languages too?

1. We are working just fine with these languages, no communication barriers.
I will not elaborate here how we do it because this is not the reason i opened this post.

2. I do use Google.cn and other foreign search engines and I know there are website directories in Chinese as there are in any other language.

3. I know how use the translator, and i also know the translation from English to Chinese isn't that Good, that i way i am asking the help of people who do know.

I am asking for help from local surfers because they do know which of the directories are the best in their countries. I usually don't use these search engines and i am pretty sure than a member from Italy will be much more helpful to me than just look for local directories.

 

Im not concerned, i was trying to figure out how you had not managed to do this yourself.

You can use the search in my sig to find directories by language, region, and price. I'm not sure how many directories we have that fit your criteria, but hopefully it will be a start.

Something tells me they probably wouldn't be like the directories that were used to though, and with being in chinese it throws up an extra challenge of trying to navigate through one to successfully submit a site.

 

Here is a large selection of different language directories. THere are hundreds of French, Italian, German, and Russian directories. I am afraid that they are not all free.
