Looking for Language/Translation Option

Hi,

I am planning to add language options to my site Adhysteria.com
Need some help advice and who can do it.

1- Need langauge/country options all major ones german, spanish , chinese, japanese etc
2- should i keep a landing page ( homepage) which shows all the language/country options and features of site then go to the current home
3- should i also say language or country and then go to corresponding language/country page with only those uploads being displayed.
4- Change the current upload page to include option where user is asked which language page does he want to upload and if he wants to upload to all language pages then he will have to pay an amount.
5- should there be localization of content based on langauge / country hence the upload page changes would help.
6- or just keep simple language option so that all users across world can access ( this can be automatic based on ip adress etc. )

Please suggest.

2. Yes, it is better if you can do it
3. Just use the flag or some gadget link to related languages to easy the visitor
4. It is up to you
5. This is better since it get targeted visitor
6. No, since you cant assume the US member like to use english, some might prefer spanish.

 

I would use a different domain for each language...I can help translating to spanish.

In my opinion you should keep the landing page in English and then add a language selector.
