Hello, This is Ali, im from Pakistan, and i'm in desperate need of contacting someone who lives in Israel! I've seen some people around here, so thought i'd make a topic about it. I'm taking part in Model United Nations (MUN), and i have been allotted the country Israel, Meaning i have to pretend to represent the country in the conference. So for one of the events, called "Global Village", i need to make a stall, Displaying Israeli Stuff, have an Israeli flag as the back drop, Wear clothes Israeli people wear etc. You get the idea. So, I've been doing research and i haven't stumbled on anything too good, so thought i'd make a topic. I wanted to know, What kind of clothes to Israeli people usually wear? I've seen those over coats, and stuff, is that traditional? What foods are there that are considered sort of national. Is stuff like Humus common? Any objects that i may be able to make / find that might represent Israeli / Jewish customs or traditions. Or any help at all will really be appreciated Thank you!
I've seen it, but its basically full of ranting and raving, nothing much about the traditions of Israel, their customs. That's what i want to know. Anyone?
