Hi, I am working at a company for nanny services. My company is going to invest in a software for increasing online sales. The thing is that we really would like if the software has all we need in one place. By now we've used MailChimp for Email marketing, Zopim for live communications, etc. Now we are wondering whether there is on the market a tool providing all these features in one place. Yesterday I came across this article http://inventures.eu/deskgod-goes-to-silicon-valley mentioning web-sales automation and I will really appreciate sharing some info if you've heard about this company or know something about the issue. Thanks in advance!
Hi Chloe, I don't have any experience with DeskGod, but I'm pretty sure I'm familiar with the type of software that you're after. Trust me, some of the marketing automation software that's out there right now is insanely cool. And fun to use! haha, Makes working just that much more exciting. There are a few good options out there. HubSpot and Marketo are kind of the Coke and Pepsi of the industry, to use an analogy. They're two of the most widely-used and robust options. Definitely top-shelf. I've actually been a huge fan of HubSpot's marketing efforts for years. They're here: http://www.hubspot.com/ Marketo has a ton of great free marketing materials and webinars all the time, too: http://www.marketo.com/ Salesforce is another option that I know people enjoy: http://www.salesforce.com/ And Silverpop is another option you can check out: http://www.silverpop.com/ Basically, these are marketing automation software solutions that are designed to help make the marketing, lead generation, and conversion processes a lot smoother and more effective. They'll automate your sales process, take care of your email, and make it easy to monitor every single marketing effort you've got out there, along with the effect that they're all having. These platforms all basically put everything you need to do as a marketing and sales-driven operation in one place, and automate them as much as you want to, tied together with really robust analytics packages. Hope this helps! _ Sean
Thanks, Sean! What I can add is that we are a small company and I am pretty familiar with the discussed above. What I can say for sure is that they can be useful for big and large corporations. We need a lit bit more personal sales approach. On the other hand Hubspot provides all tools you need to manage and publish the right content at the right time. Which is not exactly what we are looking for : ) Anyway, we needed a tool for increasing productivity and sales, and we made a contact with Deskgod ( http://www.deskgod.com/ ) yesterday. It turns out that they provide a suite of products and tools for managing the online sales process like live chat, reports, result-oriented email marketing, visitors insights, etc all integrated in one platform. I mean the demo was great and we've already pasted the code on our website. For this moment I can say that it's fun to operate with it, we received 8 requests within 4 hours. So I feel hopeful about it ; ))))) Also, they work with small companies in which I can find my own business. Thanks you for the info and I'd love to keep in touch!
Hi Chloe, I work with this company. I mean we pasted the Deskgod code on our website about a year ago. If you are interested in a more personal approach towards your customers, you've not made a wrong choice. Also, from what I understand, you use different providers of tools. Won't bother you anymore because all you need to manage your sales is in one place. I am not aware of how much traffic you have, but web-sales automation gives you the insight about how exactly the sale is being done. Besides that it's fun! You can also think about a platform for publishing content. As Sean says, Hubspot rocks When you come to a stage you can afford implementing such a system, think about it
Hey, nice! Sounds like you made a good choice. I can't really speak to any issues with DeskGod...provided that it works as advertised, it sounds to me like you've got a great solution, there. Charlotte is definitely dead-on about HubSpot...they've got a lot of tools specifically built out for awesome content creation (and they have great ways to attach lead-capturing assets to those pieces of content, too). But I'm also willing to bet that they're not the only folks who do that sort of thing, if they're out of your price range at present. Definitely stay in touch! _ Sean
You are on the right road, Chloe. We started using Deskgod's services at the end of October the last year. It's fun and user friendly. I describe myself as an app freak and I prefer well-built tools if I have to deal with them all day long Besides that, our sales reps are quite content.
