I am seeking a solution of either desktop or script to spider html sites and create a xml file. There are paid/ad sites that do this, but I prefer to use my own script/software.
I am also looking for something like that and I found this post, 20 Tools, I have not checked them though, but some sounds interesting.
You know, I have tried the software and its a pain and not automated(you have to copy paste content/add titles for all content) and the feed creator websites add "feed provided by _____" in the feed...unless you pay for a premium service. Somewhere there has to be a script out there that does this.
Check out http://feed43.com/ This is not a software tool, but a free service that allows you to create a feed from any website. I didn't know anything about xml and rss and stuff, and still managed to set up a feed for my page.
