I've been working on this site Religious Freaks for 6 months now and would like some HONEST feedback with respects to the layout, adsense position, template, etc.

As for the content, if you are sensitive to religion then please don't view unless you have a sense of humor and some constructive criticism.

    I appreciate your help!

I like the colors and the layout, it's easy on the eyes.

You could put more keywords in the title tag of your front page, and it doesn't look like any of your pages have meta tags in them. I didn't seen a link unit from adsense, so you can put up one, same with their search engine.

Thanks for chiming in JudyJiastyle :)

Any thoughts on the sidebar? I was thinking of taking the blog categories and the other pages andputting them in a dropdown menu along the top under my logo in the bar. Sound good?

Yeah, that sounds feasible. You should do the dropdowns with CSS so your SEO isn't affected.

Just looking at the site more closely, I think you should enclose "Related Stories" and the links that follow in its own DIV, because when you have an article with a long picture like the "Day of Silence", the heading and the links themselves get separated and it looks strange.

Also maybe add a bigger default padding to your article images, because some of the text look a bit crushed up against the pictures, especially for the articles on the second page.

And maybe add a space between "Read the full post here" and "(So and so words)".

Sorry for all the verbal diarrhea, it's just that everything looks so clean and neat, the awkward things jump out. :D

    I'm using FF, btw.

I like the layout, but isn't this just a standard layout template from one of the CMSs ?

Thanks Judy, your comments are very helpful! I'll be implementing your suggestions soon :)

EMPServices, you are correct in that it's a standard template, but I have done lots of customizing to get it just right :)
