Hi I have a question for you, do you have site already with traffic? If you do you should use it to get an income. If you target only high paying keywords you will have a lot of competition because many of us here and elsewhere are looking for the same. I have been making a pittance from high paying keywords a few clicks a week adds up to less than $10 even on a high paying keyword. I recommend you look at both high paying and the amount of traffic you can generate in that area. Think of it this way 5 clicks in a week at $1 a click is $5 in an average competition field. 2 clicks in a week on a finance topic is still $5, the issue here being finance is more difficult to get the traffic unless you are already in the field. Consider a games site as an alternative say 200 regular users plus occasional traffic maybe 100 clicks a week at $0.20 gives you $20. My point being if you have an established site with traffic you can use it to advertise and to cross promote to other sites in the same niche and get a bigger income than if you target only the high competition high paying keywords. After all adsense is a lottery the pay is only high because there is so much competition. Paul

Highest keywords are also competitive and i believe now adsense has decrease prices for all the keywords, one year back if u were getting 1$ per click then today u only earn 0.65-0.70 $
