I'm having a little problem I use to rank for the keyword jokes a long time ago but have fallen off. I think it has to do with the variety of changes I've done with my site over the year. I use to use xoops and then moved to joomla and now I'm using wordpress. I'm looking for some feed back on how to start getting my self ranked for the keyword of jokes now for my site.
Do search related keywords for the jokes through adwords keyword tool. Use a variety of techniques like dofollow social bookmarking,dofollow articles and directory submissions, forum postings and blog commenting. Use the keywords as anchor text for which you want to rank.
Its all about the backlinks mate. Scrape some quality backlinks, leave links to your website in anchor text and you should be good to go!
You need to build a crap load of quality backlinks. The more websites you have voting for you to get that spot the better.
