Looking for Help Getting VAST Adsense LInk

Hello,

We are looking to run video pre-roll videos for our site and want to find how to get our VAST link for our player, as we have ultimate video player plugin and it accepts vast links but not sure how to get a vast link for our publisher id on our adsense channel.

 

1. Create a video ad unit: Sign in to your AdSense account and navigate to Ads > By ad unit > + New ad unit. Select "Video" as the ad type, configure other settings as needed, and save your ad unit.
   
   
2. Enable video ads: After creating the ad unit, go to Ads > By ad unit and find the video ad unit you just created. Ensure that the status of the ad unit is set to "Ready" and that the "Ad Type" column displays "Video."
   
   
3. Generate VAST tag: Copy the ad unit code by clicking the icon next to your ad unit and selecting "Copy code." Then, paste the code into a text editor or an HTML file.
   
   
4. Extract the VAST link: In the copied code, you will find a URL starting with "https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?output=xml_vast." This URL is your VAST link.
   
   
5. Customize the VAST link: In the extracted VAST link, locate the parameter "iu" followed by your publisher ID. Replace your publisher ID with the desired value that corresponds to your AdSense channel.
   

Here's an example of what the VAST link might look like:

https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?output=xml_vast&iu=YOUR_PUBLISHER_ID

Note: Replace "YOUR_PUBLISHER_ID" with your unique publisher ID.

 

Thank you, however there is no Video Ad Unit available, it only says Display, In Feed, In Article, Multiplex and Search Engine.

 

The steps that I see need an ad unit and a video unit.
Follow the steps below, if you don't succeed, I suggest you contact Google support.

1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
2. Navigate to the "Ads" tab.
3. Click on "Ad units" from the sidebar menu.
4. Create a new video ad unit by clicking the "+ New ad unit" button.
5. Select the appropriate ad type and format for your video pre-roll ads.
6. Configure the settings according to your preferences and provide necessary information such as name, size, and custom channels.
7. Once you reach the section to specify "Ad Serving," choose "VAST ad tag" as the ad type.
8. You can then customize additional settings such as ad style and backup ads according to your needs.
9. Save and get the VAST link by clicking on the "Save and get code" button.
