Rasmus Lerdorf is one of the authors. He is the person who wrote the first version of PHP

w3schools, pls search on google

 

www.phpro.org and www.goodphptutorials.com look like good PHP Programmer sites, although as other have said above, just google, there's hundreds of good sites out there.
