If you have a quality printer OR a Corel software package, then normally you get for BOTH above a large quantity of fonts legally included. typically 1000+ fonts.

soem 8-10 yrs ago I had BOTH - printer AND corel SW packages and still carry the fonts from then on my laptops.

just check the CD from your printer ...

I agree with Hans. If you have Adobe software they also include a limited selection of Pro fonts.

Although designers do borrow stuff from dafont.com, I wouldn't recommend doing anything more than a headline in tose fonts. Most don't have professional kerning (so if you don't know how to manually kern it will look horrible) and only supply 1 weight (there usually isnt' italics, bold, bold italics, etc etc) which isn't enough to do any real work.

I recommend you look for professional fonts that have been given away for free, not free fonts.

    -Printer CD
    -Software CD's, corel, adobe
    -Yanone Kaffesatz
-Bistream vera (professional serif and sans serif)
    -LinuxLibertine (linuxlibertine.sourceforge.net)

and keep your eyes open here:

    hope this helps,
