Is there any way to get a free domain name?I came accross a place about a year ago where you could. But now I can't find anything.
There is no place on the Internet at the moment where you can register free domain name. It is only possible if registrar offers free registration for very short period of time. Before several months GoDaddy did this.
You can get .mp for free through chi.mp and it not a sub domain, but u cant build website with .mp domain and currently in beta version so u need beta code or invite by someone who has .mp domain
No way could you get a domain name for free. The average cost to a registrar is around $8.00 (Verisign and ICANN fees). If they gave free ones, how are they supposed to make money?
You can get .tk names for free, but you don't own the domain & can't sell it. You can also get .info names for about $1.20 @ Godaddy if they are still having the sale on or have coupons that work. Honestly, if you can't afford the $7-$10 to buy a domain, then the internet business probably isn't for you.
ohh... there's always somebody, who wants a domain for free... but is $7-$10 dollars such a large amount to pay?.. btw, I remember only one time, when domains were given for free. It was 2006 and nucleus.be (Belgium) registrar had a promo offer for a few months, so everybody could get .be domain..
You can indeed get a .mp domain for free if by signing up for the chi.mp service. It's awesome and lots of good domains are available right now.
try co.nr I don't advise you to register a free domain. If you make that site successful it will be hard to switch. You should buy a .info for $1. That's pretty cheap.
The reason I was looking for free ones because I need about 100 domains for what I want to do.But I got it straightened out now.Thax for the replys.
Free is hard but is possible. If you want 100, I got 100 for $10 but bear in mind the cheap names have low credibility as I'm finding. You're better off paying for something that will rank in my opinion
