If your sites represent real (ie. registered) businesses, you can get a listing with 3 additional deep links at the Strongest Brands.

Why would directories not accept your site for using keywords in the title, i thought only dmoz and liib did that? Most directories don't mind you using keywords in the titles. Course when I'm in doubt i use my websites official names (which is basically my domain with dashes removed, or 3 keywords).

What do you mean as good..? two examples, alive directory and epitrope both maintain PR7 homepages, with many PR7-5 inner pages allow keywords within the title.

It depends in my opinion on what the directory is for, finding the information or finding a company. If you don't allow keywords in a title your having people give you their company name, for example my company would have the title "Pacific Prime" if it could not use keywords within the title. However if the directory was for categorizing information the title would be one of my keyword phrases such as "international health insurance" which accurately describes the information contained in my site.

For my part, because I don't like looking at a page full of listings with identical keyphrase titles. At Strongest Brands, the title must be the registered business name. You get 3 deep links in the description to target your anchor text at deep pages.
