Looking for free css editor

Discussion in 'CSS' started by aedges, Jul 3, 2011.

I used to have a css editor witch highlighted all the color codes within any css file eith the color that code responded to.

If anyone knows where i can find this or something simler please post or inbox me.

I only need it for fast changing of color themes so i am not too bothered about other features fust for it to highlight codes to there corresponding colors

    Many thanks

Notepad ++ is perfectly enough for CSS editing for me ;) I mainly use this because of auto-suggesting so I dont need to write long attributes..

There was something I heard of a little while back it was something like JustStyle CSS Edit or Editor. You can look it up if you want but I'm unsure if it has the exact features that you are looking for, I've only heard about it, not personally used it. Of course there is always Dreamweaver too.

I use firebug as my core CSS editor, it make my life easier to fix those CSS bug. The most important is free and handy, it even perform better than Dreamweaver for this particular CSS area

Its not an editor, but it helps us easily apply styles, and see it instantly. Also it does makes suggestions.... Also you can copy the css rules after editing..... It is handy for fast development ;)

Yes, firebug is not an editor. If firebug can deliver such editing function, why we still need a heavy editor?
