looking for free advertising opportunities

    I already know about many social bookmarking, stumbleupon and directories, but do you guys know of any other types of websites where links can be submitted for free advertising?

    I remember I have seen before a "software" you can use to submit your link for free to thousands of directories.

    Do you remember the name of the software?
