Blog page has a bug in Chrome with the right sidebar! The look and feel is a little outdated, you could check several sites with the new design trends!
+1 Good spot! It looks like an alright attempt at a modern layout, I would advise spacing your content more, changing some of the webfonts to something better as they look very spindly and possibly changing the horizontal bars on the left and right of the template as they seem to serve little purpose. It also looks pretty generated and *gasp* using some sort of CSS framework. I can't blame you for a lot of the things if it's a WordPress template though as that usually comes with most Wordpress Themes.
