I just created a new site called View4View.com I literall just through it up so I know it is rough, and I know I'm not getting any traffic yet so it's not really operational, but I am looking for feedback on the concept. Do you think it will work? Thanks!
Took a quick look and it looks OK but lot of ads. Or may be because of their placement. why not make a nice header.
Hello JoshHrob. I had a chance to look at your website tonight. First of all, I'm not to keen on the idea of your site. My main reason is that the market is focused towards other video creators and not the video watchers. My Review Domain Name I like the domain name. Its catchy. Logo & Header You have huge competition.... so I would suggest updating your logo and header. AOL Ad Your AOL ad sticks out past the template on the right side. Navigation I think that the top navigation could be redone. I would suggest removing: Sign Up, Browse Categories & Login My reasoning for this is that they are already on your home page in modules on the left side. I think you could copy some of the bottom navigation links to the top. These could be: Contact Us & Site Map I would also.. suggest removing Sign Up & Login from the bottom navigation links. Sign Up Page I think that the google ads could be different than what they are now. At present they take up most of the space of this page. This will allow better alignment of the Sign Up module. Browse Videos I think that when people click into the categories... it would be good to view thumbnails of each video.. Conclusion In terms of design, I think that the site could use more work. I also think that the site could be used for specific videos rather than Video Producers to watch Video Producer Videos. Hi. Great concept--the opportunity to earn and be entertained is just there and will be obvious to viewers. But I'm not too keen on the tagline though: 'I watch yours, you watch mine' just connotes so many things it doesn't capture what you would want your clients to understand. How about changing it to 'buy and sell your videos' or something..
