Looking for FAST hosting!

    Guys,

    I'm looking for a FAST web host that allows file hosting.

    Please don't bother posting if you have 10000000 accounts on your server(or probably reseller account). I want to run a file hosting site and need a FAST server for under $5/month.

    I will only be needing arond 5GB Space and 50GB Bandwidth for now. Only requirement I have is that your server can provide fast download and upload speeds.

    For file hosting, you are going to have to raise your budget and buy a dedicated server, else you'll end up with exactly what it is you do not want. Your expectations at 5 bucks are month are way out of proportion with what a file hoster typically uses in terms of bw and server resources.

    alvarez16, I mite be able to get you something for $5.00 but there would be some restrictions in regards to usage, etc...

    I completely understand that but for now I'm simply starting up my website, that is why I'm only requesting 5GB or so of space.

    I assume a server with decent specs and a 200GB hard drive can fit 40 accounts on it if it gives out 5GB to each. And at $5 a piece that's $200 that should easily cover a server that supports a mere 40 accounts :)

    cheap hosting can never be good and fast.. you can try fatcow which is good but out of your budget. Tmz is giving out discounts to DP members and its really worth it. I think omewhere like 25$ for 2 yrs which is a good bargain. So far the uptime is good, hoping for the best :)
