    Greetings all,

I am on the lookout for an exceptional and, most importantly, an interesting technology blog news writer. Specifically, on the subject of web hosting and all that relates to it (all types of hosting, domain issues, specialty applications, technical knowledge, companies, software solutions, etc).

I want to attract a person who is interesting in his own approach and writing style. By that I mean someone who can either scan news sources, or investigate his own news lead, and then deliver a story that engages readers. That requires a writer with a good sense for what makes the news. I also appreciate a writer who will be able to put his spin (personal and/or professional opinion) on the subject, have his own story ideas. If I were to describe this startup blog in three words, they would be: informative, provoking, opinionated.

To begin with, I am looking for just a couple of writers who will submit stories at least 1-2 times per week. If your writing skills truly impress me, and your writing rate won't kill my budget, then we can look into expanding your activity, as well as having special investigations/materials/reports assigned.

Accepted writer(s) will be provided with a writing guide to help start on the right foot. You are obviously expected to operate in professional English language. An ideal example of engaging stories with proper research, claims, expert commentary is GigaOM.com blog.

Please email me at artashes #at# gmail.com and provide the following:

    1. related experience in the field of web hosting
    2. examples of your work is a must: web hosting article/story highly preferred. If you don't have one, then write one up (sample of up to 250 words). You will impress me if you set an informative, slightly opinionated and interactive style.
    3. description of your writing process
    4. your preferred writing rate (per word)

DO NOT PM ME - I will not answer.
DO NOT POST BELOW, unless it is a question that might benefit a lot of applicants.[/QUOTE]

Please note that due to lack of time I will respond only to applications that address all 4 points above, and those that I find most interesting.

    Best,
    Artashes
