I am having trouble getting members and promoting my website, I have tried submitting to digg but that didn't help, I have tried adbrite and adwords to no avail. I just spent more money for traffic that didn't turn into members. I have also submitted into forums but seems that people don't really give a S*it lol.

Anyways ,If this was your site, http://www.rawflair.com

I'm trying to get members that create videos of themselves preforming whatever talent it is that they exceed at. It could be anything.

    Let me know your suggestions.

    Thanks

Try a contest with a good prize. And then promote the hell out of the contest.

I have had very good results using YouTube with call to action slides at the begining and end of the video pointing to my URL link in the discription area.

To View A Sample Of How I Do It watch This Video.
