For a new product reviewing site (mainly about tech products), I need someone talented and with high motivation for researching over the internet after juicy pieces of information (forums, blogs etc.) and writing about them very briefly. Main requirements are: Knowledge about and love for technology products (smartphones, game consoles etc.) Enthusiasm about exploring and researching online. Open-minded. Being able to write concisely and clearly. Healthy common sense. Long term commitment. Terms: Fun job. Good salary. Option for getting a partnership - 1% of profits for life (based on performance).
Please make sure you meet the requirements: If you want to work for me you have to be perfectionist. I only care about the quality of the content (not about quantity) and I’m not willing to compromise. You need to spend all the time needed in order to come out with a perfect outcome every time. _ Since there are many candidates, I've made a little challenge to see if you have what it takes, so this is your entrance examination. The challenge: Write 3 cons of the iPhone 5, one for each category. Resources: Categories: “Hardware” – everything that is physical-tangible (design, components etc…) “Software” – everything related to the interface and applications (OS, apps etc…) “General” – general stuffs like price, warranty etc… Every con should look like this: Con title – summarize of the con in a few words (up to short sentence). Should be clear and briefly. Con description – explain the con more deeply, can be a paragraph (few sentences). Should still be concise. Research resources: • User reviews on Amazon, Cnet, newegg, bestbuy, manufacture’s website (like apple store) etc… • Top review articles (mainly by googling “X review” where X is the product you reviewing). • Research on forums and blog comments. (by googling “X forum”, by using Google Blogs and Google Discussions). _ Good luck, Tom
And the payoff is ...? A vague partnership with the site owner that can be cancelled at anytime? ( reads more ) ooh.. a Salary! That is a bit better...
