Looking for Drupal Module

    I have searched a lot for a download module for drupal. I have searched their database and a few other sites with modules to no avail. I am looking for something to add a 'downloads' section to my site that can handle onsite/offsite files, mirrors and a description of the file. Does anyone know of such a module out there? Also it needs to be for Drupal 5.x.

    you may have to modify the stock download module, it wouldnt be too hard to do so to accommodate those functions

    There's no stock 'download' module for Drupal. You can check the approriate section of Module downloads and find out what's the best for you.

    none of those fit what im looking for, ive looked over nearly every drupal module on the drupal site.
