Looking for Domain Name Registrar with Free Private Registration

    I am currently using 1and1.com to host most of my domain names because it includes free private registration of the domain, but I'm looking to find another domain registrar that offers the same. Any suggestions?

    I've got about 50 domains hosted through 1and1 and don't feel comfortable with "all of my eggs in one basket".

    You should try namecheap they give free private whois plus SSL.

    I also use GoDaddy right now and they charge $8.99/yr for private registration.

    Any one from DirectI/ResellerClub chain can offers much more, free privacy, free DNS, free mail and domain forwarding, free domain lock, free domain push within the entire chain and depending on the level the reseller is on you can get good pricing too.
