Let me ask you this, why would you own over 10,000 domains & not know how to monetize your names? In the end of the day, with that many names the only thing you could do with so many names is to park them, maybe something like SedoPro.com, Parked.com, WhyPark.com, etc.
wow, that is a lot of domains and yes you only have one choice and that is to park them and develop ones you like the most. I can't understand why anyone would own that many names especially these days with little chance of makng much money in parking. If you have that much money to buy this amount of domains then maybe you could emply people or a team of writers, designers, promoters and developers to create good websites for each domain.
I 100% agree with save. Although I would pick a few names that are aimed at local business owners and try to sell them to them. Just type the keyword for the domain in google and see what comes up. Look at the ppc listings and the local listings and aim for the mom and pop shops. If you have one you know will sell then grab some cheap hosting and throw up all the local competition for that niche (ppc ads, local listings) on a quick wordpress set up. Add the all in one seo plugin and let it rip. Wait a few days and hopefully your site will get picked up by the s.e. if not that won't be a problem. Then send an email to all the businesses stating all the benefits from owning that domain name. Normally, 1 in 30 will bite and pay big bucks for your domain name if you do it right. You want to try to get the domain name to rank well just to add a little edge to the buyer. They will see that you are on the first page and are getting all of the traffic while their site is no where to be found so they will scoop it up to try and get more paying customers. IDK I hope that helps. If you need anymore advice just shoot me a p.m. Good Luck!
I would love to own 10k domains are you kidding that is not dumb. Doing nothing with them is though. I mean if you can afford that many domains . I am sure you can afford to outsource the work and have good content and domain management skills and software. even if each domain made .30 each on average a day at 10k you talking about 3000 a day . of course you probably paying around 400 or more a day for management and content but still good money .
You can always lease them out - I've seen a few services that offer the facility to lease a domain name out to a company and the going rate was as high as $300 per month. Ofcourse that all depends on the niche and keyword strength and other aspects to get that kind of payment. A quick Google search should return a few sites you can join and list your names - even if the bring in $10 a month each, its better than nothing.
