I own this site http://luckytaxicab.com As well as many other taxi sites that run on wordpress. I want a page on the site that people can estimate taxi fares with. Additionally when they ask for a price for a ride I want it to create an additional page of content on the site. Preferably a wordpress post page that has the search keywords in the url and maybe pulls in some related content on the post page that make every search generate a brand new I want to add this function to most if not all of my taxi sites and be able to change the values for the estimator on each site I set it up on. Ideally this would work as a plugin with all the coding packaged into the plugin. Then every time I want it on a site I just install the plugin changes the values and its ready to go. I actually found a plugin in the directory that does some of what I want. This project just got a bit easier I think.

If you know Java and PHP you can do this job very quickly as all the nuts and bolts are there in the existing plugin. There is one website that does this really well already and I have harvested the Java from that site. This makes things even easier. Ideally you would be able to change the points of interest list in the dashboard of the plugin. 2) The example plugin is giving bad estimates. Taxis rides are estimated by time and distance plus an initial start fee. This plugin is doing something different. 3) The plugin needs to create a unique url for every search conducted containing keywords from the search. I would prefer the plugin puts the result of the search on an additional post page that is there forever. This is where your php skills come in. If you know Ajax this is optional features. 1) On the results page pull in some additional info regarding the search. Maybe pics and videos based on the search esitmate. Restaurant listings shit like that. Have it looking nice CSS wise.
