Bevo Media actually is a free PPC Platform. It's still in beta though letting in beta testers everyday. May want to check them out
becareful...i used to work for a large SEM firm and their software had a lot of bugs...it cost them over 100K per month to use.. make sure you ask a possible candidate a lot of questions before committing.
None of the good PPC software platforms are <$100/month. Especially if you need reporting and bid management. Typical rates are 2-5% of media spend. Also, you will find that tools that are good at bid management are generally not very powerful in reporting, and vice versa. If you give more specifics on what you're looking for, I can lead you in the right direction.
Personally I've more confident on my intellect than machine. But to automate the process I sometimes use statistical methods. One is scorecard method.
Can you please tell us more about Bevo Media? I am looking for a tool like Bid Rank that will manage big prices etc but I would like something that I can run on my own server without a keyword limit. In other word I want to pay a licensing fee and then have unlimited use. Suggestions?
