A Informative Circular On Content Creation, And Where The Cool Kids Do It. I'm looking for a writer to cough up some articles on the poker niche. The articles will be used as a basis for blog posts, and I expect some research to be done on the subject matter (ie poker, in this case). My budget is rather small-ish, so I don't expect grandiloquent articles. Plus, it's not that I don't have a good grasp of the English language or anything, but I guess laziness counts as an excuse ; so don't try to fool me with a half-baked article. If $20 for 8 250-word articles interests you, then please shoot me a PM or e-mail (frost@wiredbox.org) containing the following information: Rate. Yes, I happen to know that 200/8/250 = $0.01/word. But I still have the right to know. Turnaround time. Just as a gauge. Previous work. Include the more relevant information - like if you've done articles on poker previously. Don't forget some samples. Any other information you think I'd like to know. I have a great thirst for knowledge, yes. Guess what, my standard of writing far exceeds *some* writers here on DP (by my measure), so if anyone happens to need a few cheap articles, drop me a PM too . No, I'm joking.
I've gotten PMs from a few users. As much as we'd like to deny that appearances count, first impressions do make a lot of difference. For instance, if you: Cannot be bothered to type out a few sentences; Eg: hii exa I can do the articles for you my price is $1 per 100 words Cannot put capitals where they belong; Eg: Ditto above. Cannot type with proper grammar; Spell "right" as "rite"; Don't know that an ellipses is a three - not two - dot symbol ... then please do not waste my time and yours as I will not bother to look beyond those mistakes. The above stated examples of raping and burning of the English language are true; I did not make them up (as much as I'd like to think that my creative juices are not already drained). Please, as an article writer, your professionalism should show in your writing, as would a graphic designer's in his banners or logos or what ever visual content. I'm sorry if I appear slightly harsh, but you are a disgrace to the content creation community (do I spot an alliteration? ). EDIT: For those who PM me, I'll reply all at one shot... sometime later
