Hello, I have website www.djreneek.com But I need some CMS for this website. Just for add/edit/remove articles, add/remove disco posters etc... Can anybody give me any tips or tutorials? Very thanks
Its all about WordPress. Go to Wordpress.org download it and install it on your server. 5 minute installation. Customise with wordpress themes.
I think you should just go for an all-in-one website building and management solution (hosting, CMS, design). Wordpress seems like overkill for what you wanna do, and isn't going to give you hosting.
Thanks people, but I think, wordpress is too big for my web... I need something simple... What about any script?
How do you currently edit the pages - and do you need a CMS to do so or can you just edit them and re-upload the html each time you change them?
Better choise is free I want create my own cms by my imagine, but I have a problem with edit current articles... I don't know how to...
Well, unless you're really into coding, then why not just use a solution that's already out there (yes I work for one, but there are plenty of competitors offering good stuff too . That'd leave you free to concentrate on important stuff, like ... DJ'ing? And give you an easy solution for updating pages and photos and stuff.
It all depends on whether you want to deal with the server side yourself or not. If that doesn't pose a problem, then Wordpress or similar is an option (and not the most unpleasant
Wordpress! Very good for beginners and easy to use. If you have no idea how to install wordpress use fantasico, which can be found in your cpanel.
Wordpress is very simple to install and use, specially when you have to add a plugin to your site. There are very many themes, plugins, and forums to help you.
I am also search a good cms. And read much about wordpress. And this moment. It's a very good choice.
But it still requires installation and a lot of back-end manipulation. From what I can see of your website, you're looking for something a lot more manageable (don't forget that the basis behind Wordpress etal is that they are multi-user orieted site managers for a LOT of content, used by a LOT of people, not just to make a blog or a website with a few pages).
