    Hi all ,

Am looking for a "Sexy Girl" character (not p0rn!) to use on my site - www.goalpost.tv

I see the character similar to the boxing half time girl and could hold a "blank sheet" above her head ( later replaced with logos of football teams or similar)

    Also a great idea here - http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/thumbimg_240/1203597975zT3392.jpg

Please post your ideas.. Am not sure if im asking too much?? My budget just very low!

    Thanks in advance!!

I will be posting an entry, no offense but a lot of these look terrible proportionally. This Site helps quite a bit when it comes to drawing something that looks real.

    @ shawn ross

These are cartoon images not life studies. I don't think any of them look disproportionate and simply saying "no offense" in front of something does not mean you avoid causing offense. Everyone has their own unique style and way of doing things mine for example draws from my love of anime and manga in which proportions are different from that of a still life sketch for example.

Needless to say, the proportions are not wrong, I think everyone has put in a great entry for this contest and for $25 there is some really neat stuff here. It's simply not polite to slate people's work in a contest you intend to enter yourself. It's like saying "This work sucks, mine is awesome, pick me!".

I'm going off on a bit of a rant here, but I wanted to stick up a bit not just for myself but everyone in this thread who puts the effort in, and doesn't go around slamming other contestants designs.

I guess I have to back up a bit and start at the top. Yes you are right these are cartoon images, I just personally think that they don't look believable at all. I do say no offense but when something offends me I don't really care if I am being to blunt. I hope that somehow the CH knows that I speak the truth. I understand and agree with you that everyone has their own style. But I have known many wannabe mangaka people who think they can study anime and manga and that will make them a better artist. All mangaka have studied life drawing before to make things 'proportionally' believable. I wont get more into it on your next point.

The one that really just makes me angry is when you say for $25 dollars this is great work. No, that is lazy and unprofessional. Price should never impact quality or that makes you look terrible as a designer. And to prove my point and I guess an apology to those offended by my opinion, I will not enter this contest.

I don't want to get into arguments here and spam up this thread so I'm going to drop this. What I will say though is don't withdraw from this contest on my account. I'm sure the CH would like to see everyone's entries to make a balanced decision and I too would like to see what you come up with. In fact, it should be something along the lines of you showing us how it's done. In this case, pictures speak louder than words.

@shawn: I notice you removed the post about "working privately with the CH", although I'm not sure why. I don't normally get involved in these types of arguments but to be honest, the way a complete newcomer to these forums like yourself with 0 iTrader just appears in a thread and insults people's work is the thing that in my opinion is "not very professional". That just reflects badly on you.

All the work I have seen from Sorukayde on these forums has obviously had effort put into it, and feedback is always received well. The simple truth is that you don't get 27 iTraders that are all positive by not being professional.

I think I've said enough but just couldn't refrain from adding my 2 cents after seeing your self-indulgent posts. May I suggest a little less arrogance and comments where they aren't needed and just do some work instead?

To your last point that is why I removed my post, And please never use Sorukayde as an example of professionalism again. I wont say why but I just really think that is the worst example.

I am done with this argument, I just get peeved when quality is dictated by price.
