I know there are tools to see where your results are ranked for certain keywords, but I am on the hunt for a tool that will list all the keywords that trigger my website or any of it's sub-pages. This way I might be over-looking keywords to optimize. Also I just made this nifty Excel spreadsheet to track my organic results, but I am only tracking 3 keywords, anyone who has ever made a Excel spreadsheet for themselves can attest to the fact that you just want to go crazy and add other things and sections! It got my brain pumping and now I want to see what keywords trigger my organic results. Also does anyone know a good way to "force" Google to use specific descriptions in the results, or does it just always populate it from a random chunk of text that includes the keywords? Believe me, I have tried putting a optimized description close to the top with all keywords in it written like a champ and Google still just grabs random sentences and thats the description. I have recently deleted some pages ( deleted content and made it an option to click to check out the new stuff ) http://www.promotionsllc.com/backlinks6.html Thats 1 of the 6 or 7 pages I did that too so you can see. 1 More question, any word on how long it takes Google to de-index particular subpages that I recently added the NoFollow NoIndex tag too?
Verify your site in google.com/webmasters/ it will show all the keyword your site is ranking for for description use meta description tag in the head section of page
Digitalpoint has an awesome keyword tracker (as well as other tools). WMTs and analytics will also give you a lot of good info. You can use the URL removal tool in webmaster tools if you want to be deindexed quickly. Cheers James
1. use analytics + google WMT data to get the idea of your top ranking keywords 2. Use meta description tag 3. It can take from 48 hrs to 1 week
I prefer you to use webmaster tools by google, because they will tell you all keywords, where as suggested keywords will also be displayed. its best tool I ever used.
