Hey.. I work for an Internet company, and they've asked me to start doing research on writing for the web. This includes copywriting and SEO stuff.. and they also want me to find out the best practices for content management, and also figure out writing for the web. I was thinking of buying a couple of books to start: -Web Word Wizardry a Net-Savvy Writing Guide- Rachel McAlpine -Writing for Multimedia and the Web- Timothy Garrand -Hot Text: Web Writing that Works- Lisa Price -The Copywriter's Handbook : A Step-by-Step Guide to Writing Copy That Sells- Robert W Bly It's hard to know where to start - there's SO MUCH info out there, it's a little overwhelming. Can anyone tell me about these books, or recommend another book or resource for me to check out? Thanks!
You should start by researching inside this forum, where there are many posts providing all those resources you are seeking for, starting with the most recently posted right here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=309160 but there are many others in older threads.
