    As it pertains to what?

    1. Infringement & DMCA Claims against you or someone else?
    2. Copyright Registration?
    3. Legal Advice for civil or criminal action?

    Well first some free advice.

If this is a "forum" you technically may not be the copyright holder of the content so you may have a problem here... that said:

I would recommend you apply for copyright in USA first (if you can)... "depending" on your answers to these questions about how the alleged infringer is making money off your efforts.

What are their commercial interest? (how do they make revenue if you can tell from viewing their website, selling products, services, affiliate marketing, etc.)

If for example say AdSense - Google will hand you the latest 3 months of their AdSense income - but this is a little tricky as well because the alleged infringer previously acknowledge (under the penalty of perjury) their ads will only be displayed on their own published works... the problem here is Google will force the alleged infringer to counterclaim your claim and your only recourse then is to seek immediate court action (if the alleged infringer tentatively commits perjury and agrees to counter-claim).

Unfortunately, in the USA you can't proceed with court action unless you have pre-registered your copyright.

Notwithstanding, if you wish a quick review of your situation please email me at
