Looking for best .Net ecommerce platform

I'm looking to create a fairly simple ecommerce site, with about 5-15 products, some custom landing paages, and ideally an affiliate program built in as well.

I know a lot of people are going with Linux platforms, but my background is in .Net / Windows coding, so I was wondering what the best, reasonable cost platform is for Windows?

There really isnt a "best" one, otherwise there would only be one.

AspDotNetStorefront is frequently used commercial product, given their prominence on the site, http://www.asp.net/community/projects#jm_ecommerce, then these are probably the most common opensource ones.

Thanks, I'm also noticing some systems seem to be more of a simple cart, where others are more of an actual store...

There is nothing best overall... you choose the one which works best for you.
.NET has some fairly functional ecommerce solutions. Some of the open source solutions are dashCommerce, nopCommerce.

ASP MVC allows you to build a product showcase very fast. Give it a try.

First of all, if you don't have more than 100 products, you should use a template built in ASP.net Or you can also consult a popular custom ecommerce services provider. Get more idea of How far will your asp.net ecommerce take you?

NopCommerce is the best shopping cart application. It is very easy to use as well as free. I strongly recommend nopCommerce because of it's well designed structure. Additionally, we can add our own pages without any problem.

As you are looking to develop an ecommerce website with Windows platform, so I think Asp.net Storefront would be the right choice of framework that you can rely on.

You should try www.nopcommerce.com. It's open source and the code is well structured. It uses asp.net MVC on the latest versions. It used to be web forms I think before 2.0 version.

If you are specialized in .net then you should go ahead with your area of expertise.
