I was wondering if you could suggest some keywords for my website for my magazine. And if you can also help me with some basic info on how to get myself listed high with these keywords, thanks

    try Google keyword tool

it's free online tool that help you find your keywords, keyword trends, competetor in particular keywords.

thai quite a good tool to guide you to find your best keywords for your site.

I suggest you that no one keyword analysis tool will give you exact keyword for your website, specially for your website that is of the magazine, because very less people are search it so i suggest you that you think that if you needs information regarding any topic then what will you search on the search engine, like me, I want an web application development company in ireland then my keyword will be web development company ireland, web application development company ireland and if with these keywords i got some site then we will study only those site and design the keyword for my website.
so you needs to do some study. and then make your keywords without any tools because all the free tools are useless.

    check

I just made that list. OR if you have a google adwords account, just enter some base keywords there and look what it comes up with.

I would always suggest go for 3 word-keywords and check how common they are. The less competition and (at the same time) higher the search volume, the better.

I do think that keyword elite is helpful tho.

Check out the tools in my list and i am sure you will find some nice ones. Dont go with the most common keywords with the most competition. Specialize.

Try using the freekeywords.wordtracker.com tool as well as the Google Keyword tool for suggestions. You can also surf forums in your niche to find good keywords.
