I downloaded Article Submitter a while back. I've never used it and don't intend to. I feel too limited with it, a lot of article directories included with it are low quality or no longer active. Also every article directory is different with its submission form, so I don't really trust automated submission software. Manual submission all the way for me.
I think as long as you stick with the top three or four services who have the highest pagerank and traffic then you should be good...much rather do the manual submission.
