Can anyone point me to a good, comprehensive SEO checklist that's up to date? Gracius

Yeah baby! Green in da house! WOOF WOOF.

Seriously, it is a great list, although I must tell you that you don't necessarily have to follow every step.

Here is a good checklist that I would recommend:

    1) Create a website with many pages of good content
    2) Please your ads on the pages in high-traffic areas
    3) Add a sitemap to your website
    4) Submit to search engines
    5) Submit to link directories
    6) Identify your key search term (yes, only one per page)
    7) Increase the frequency of those key words on respective pages
    8) Make sure you have META tags on your web pages
    9) Use Google Sitemaps
    10) Create as many backlinks to your key pages as possible
    11) When creating a backlink, try to use keywords in the anchor text
    12) Name your web pages with keywords in the page name
    13) Do not use grapics when regular text will work (i.e. menus)
    14) READ DP EVERY DAY!

I guess as an alternative to 10. you could get just a few backlinks to a page but from very high pr sites/pages, im not sure if it works that way but its a possibility.
