    Hello,

I am the only admin at the moment for Forumpeers.com and I am looking for another person to help me out. This is volunteer, we do not make money from this. My other admin left because he got a job and it is full time, he rather not get involved in any other external sites. His choice, but I accept it. We have an owned vbulletin license and I fund the hosting. I am looking for somebody experienced in mods/styles and vBulletin and who is has admin or moderator experience. Please pm me if you are interested or you may contact me via e-mail (dan@forumpeers.com) I am looking for someone with expert skill in coding and design as my other admin designed the whole forum. I've had good contacts with my previous admin, he was around long hours and he dedicated his time to the design and content of the forum. He also was a good coder. This may be hard to find a replacement, but hopefully someone out there is willing... I am looking for someone who can can help build a strong online community =]

We are a couple weeks old, we have the potential the be one of the biggest communities online.

    -Dan

You probably should offer some sort of payment, or the only people that will reply are the ones that are doing it for other reasons which could be a bad thing.

You would likely do well by promoting from within. Even a newbie admin can do a FANTASTIC job at administrating how a board runs, especially if that newbie is already a part of the community.

By bringing in an outsider it does a few things that many may not like...

It tells the member base they are not good enough for the promotion, and can build resentment.

It falls down on blind trust, you are giving admin rights to a person you've not had contact with.

A new admin can come in and be a real jerk, which again can really turn off the member base.

Promote a few members to mods, see how they do. Promote a few of the better mods to super mod, and see how they do. Promote a super mod to admin.

This gets you FULLY staffed from within, and that can give a tremendous boost to the moral of the memberbase and gives them all something to strive for, as they see other members getting promoted.

It may take a bit longer, but in the long run, it's most certainly worth the time & effort!
