    i also recommend checking out oscommerce....if your hosting has fantastico, you can install it in a few clicks :)

    Its a very widely used product which works, easy to get support, easy to find addons/modules or develop your own....what's unprofessional about it?

    I personally like OSCommerce. It's not great right out of the box primarily because of its lack of an SEO friendly platform. However, this can be modified. I still think it provides a good basis as long as its primarily used as a CMS and shopping cart but I don't recommend the front-end right out of the box. :)
